CORONA, Calif. (November 20, 2020) – In a season that initially seemed like it may never happen, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series - Presented by GEICO defied the odds and persevered through uncertainty, to complete a successful and memorable 2020 campaign.
All season long, in 2020, one of the most competitive classes in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series was the JR 2 Kart division. A total of six different drivers captured a victory in the class, which allowed for many stars of the future to break through. A notable member of the contingent of winners is 13-year-old Logan Leggitt, who finished third in the championship standings.
The junior divisions of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series are brimming with the most promising young talent in short course off road, fostering the future generation of star racers. One of the brightest young talents in the junior ranks is 14-year-old Rhyan Denney.
Over the past two seasons, the Martin family has made a name for itself in the junior ranks of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Last season, the cousin pairing of Cade and Talan combined to win the majority of races in the JR 2 Kart class, eventually finishing second and third in the championship, while Cade captured Rookie-of-the-Year honors.

The final two rounds of the Lucas Oil Off Road Series are this weekend, Friday October 16th and Saturday October 17th at Glen Helen Raceway. We are so excited to announce that Madix Bailey - Pro Lite #29 and Irie Bailey - Jr2 Kart #429 will be running wraps designed by two kids from the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital!
Famed Glen Helen Raceway Hosts Season Ending Doubleheader
Chandler, AZ - As the Stronghold Motorsports team arrived in Chandler, AZ at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, coming to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) halfway mark…the team was focused on continuing the podium highs from the Wheatland tripleheaders. In his Prolite rookie year, Madix “Madman” Bailey had set his sights on finishing this tripleheader with another round of podium’s.
After starting the season in the Prolite Class Dave Mason Jr. and eBay Motors made the determination to finish the season in Pro2, the premier class of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series. With plans to race the Pro2 class full-time next year, Mason Off Road wanted to get ahead of next year's racing season by gaining experience in the remaining races of 2020.
